The 2004 NDI Conference was held in Phoenix, Arizona from Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 11. This was the fifth global conference to be sponsored by the NDI Foundation. Once again, it brought together researchers from the United States as well as from around the world to encourage and facilitate communication and research into nephrogenic diabetes insipidus.

The meetings were held at the Pointe South Mountain Resort, situated in the colorful southwestern desert near Phoenix. The resort's beautiful accommodations, serene setting, and warm climate provided a welcome backdrop for the conference.

Friday evening, a dinner reception was held at the hotel's outside Palm Court where researchers networked and became re-acquainted with each other. After a full day of presentations on Saturday, researchers were treated to a horseback and wagon ride through the desert to the dinner location Saturday evening. The conference was completed on Sunday afternoon.
